Birthing In Baltimore Recap

Doula Networking Event
We launched our Doula Medicaid Project in August 2024 and one important step of our research is speaking directly to Doulas and other birthing providers about the challenges they’re facing in navigating third party payment-specifically Medicaid.
Maternal Health Symposium
The Center for Maternal and Family Health at Morgan State University is gearing up for its upcoming symposium, Bridging Legacies, Building Futures: Strengthening Research Through Community Partnerships. This event will explore how research and community collaboration can drive meaningful solutions to advance maternal and family health. With a keynote address, expert panel, roundtable discussions, and a student & community poster symposium, this gathering will foster connections among scholars, practitioners, and community leaders.
